The 16th edition of the Decanter World Wine Awards was also held last May. The DWWA is one of the largest, most influential and most rigorous competitions in the world: For two weeks, 280 experts from around the world blind taste more than 17,000 wines. From Cava Guilera we present two of our most representative Gran Reserva cavas, the most mature and the most novel: Guilera Agosarat 2006 and Guilera Xarel·la Roja 2014. Both obtained a Decanter silver medal [such as the 2007 Guilera Musivari and the 2012 Guilera Xarel·la Verda] and thanks to these results, we were invited to participate in the Decanter Great Sparkling Exploration 2019.
Only wineries that obtain a minimum score of 90 Decanter points can participate in the Decanter Great Sparkling Exploration, which was held on June 20 at Church House in London. For us it was a huge honor and it was also our first international event.
